Galaxy X1 Development Flight Launch Will Not Happen In January 2014

Planned in January 2014 launch of Dragon X's first KNO3-Fueled Rocket, Galaxy X1 will not happen as there is some change of schedule for Dragon X Team to work on the launch. Followed by the cancellation of the closing mission of the entire Water Rocket Programme by Aquarius M-41e in February 2014 and payload launch test by Galaxy X2 in March or April 2014.

Dragon X will try to announce their decision as fast as possible for the Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) fuel test onto Galaxy design-b. This mission is named as Galaxy XT, as Galaxy design-b will carry on a fuel test to determine whether the fuel is safe to be use on the costly rocket, Galaxy.

Dragon X Team, Cameron Tan, Hongz Teoh, Sean Quek and
Tan Ying Ru will be at Besut, Terengganu to take part in the National Service (Khidmat Negara, PLKN) for 3 months starting 4 January 2014. So, the launch schedule for Galaxy X1 Development Flight has to be cancel due to the inconvenience.

Dragon X Aerospace will still plan a schedule to launch Galaxy X1 as the project was in development since April 2011. Possible launch date for Galaxy X1 might be set within May 2014 to not late than July 2014.
