The SpaceX Dragon capsule is safely in orbit with its power-producing solar arrays deployed following a successful launch aboard the company's Falcon 9 rocket. Liftoff came on time at 3:44 a.m. EDT to set the cargo-carrying spacecraft on a course to rendezvous with the International Space Station.
