Kawasan tompok Matahari aktif AR2017 yang telah melepaskan suar Matahari (flare) kelas X1. Aktiviti ini telah menghasilkan gangguan radio (radio blackouts) dengan bacaan R3 (Kuat) pada jam 01:48 (9:48 pagi waktu Malaysia). Aktiviti ini dijangkakan akan berkekalan dan biasanya tidak berkaitan dengan CME (hamburan jisim korona) yang kuat dan ketara. Pihak NOAA sedang menunggu imej koronograf bagi meramalkan ribut geomagnetik akan terjadi.

NASA's Flight Deck

The flight deck is where the magic happens for a crew of space explorers. It's the command center, the cockpit and the living area for astronauts during their missions. A great deal of research went into creating the flight deck for every spacecraft, from days when switches would only turn on an indicator light to the modern age of touchscreens. The Commercial Crew Program’s partners are designing their spacecraft to maximize the room the crew has in space and to optimize the information and actions they need to take during a flight. See if you can pick out which of these flight decks belong to which spacecraft. Your choices are: Apollo command module, Boeing's CST-100, Sierra Nevada Corporation's Dream Chaser, SpaceX's Dragon and the space shuttle. Good luck!

Space X Ready to Launch Falcon 9 Dragon for CRS-3 Mission to ISS

SpaceX has confirmed that Sunday's launch of its third contracted resupply mission to the International Station has been postponed due to a range asset issue. More information including a new target launch date will be posted as it becomes available at: http://www.nasa.gov/spacex.

Fenomena Hari Tanpa Bayang

Anda di Kuala Lumpur berpeluang untuk merasai Hari Tanpa Bayang antara 24 Mac dan 15 September ini. Fenomena ini berlaku akibat peredaran Bumi mengelilingi matahari dengan kecondongan satah Bumi pada sudut 23.5 darjah. Oleh yang demikian, kawasan-kawasan yang berada dalam latitude 23.5 darjah utara dan 23.5 darjah selatan ini akan mengalami fenomena tersebut namun tarikh dan masanya adalah berbeza mengikut kedudukan lokasi yang berkenaan.

Sebagai contoh di Pulau Langkawi, fenomena ini akan berlaku pada 6 April dan 6 September.



Bagi peminat-peminat astronomi, fenomena ini bukanlah sesuatu yang pelik kerana ianya berlaku dua kali pada setiap tahun. Orang ramai akan dapat perhatikan, matahari akan berada tepat di atas kepala pada waktu tengahari (Zohor) dan ianya akan menyebabkan kita tidak dapat melihat bayang-bayang sendiri sekiranya kita berdiri di tengah panas di kawasan yang lapang.

Kem PLKN Saujana Jabi Impian (K1/S11/2014)

Kem PLKN Saujana Jabi Impian (National Service), which had began on 4 January 2014 and ended on 19 March 2014 (Today) for badge 1 trainees had marked a very great, wonderful and awesome memories in every trainees all around the nation. Every joy and pain that we met in the camp, every difficulties had been overcame through these 3 months in the camp, apart from our own family.

What did we learnt from the National Service?

Many of activities, lessons, moral values, and training that we had learn from the National Service. There is a main objective from what we are called to involved in the National Service, that is we learn to be independence and patriot to our country. We were been trained to defend for our country whenever there were attack from outsiders. We were as the front line for our country when we were attack by the outsiders.

Therefore, we were also learn to be independence during 3 months in the camp. We were taught to take care of ourselves, our friends, work as a team to overcome every challenges that we met during the training.

Lastly, many wonderful and lovely memories were left into photos to be kept in our heart forever.
